I always thought of them being sorta..abstract, I guess. There’s definitely Mr.R influence there from spoony
And since I don’t really revisit fan head-canons, may as well pour my thoughts on them
Endermen are figments of energy that acquire a pseudo level of sentience, out in the enderworld. I figure their level of sentience isn’t so much sentience in itself, but rather a copying mechanism—specifically, they copy the player (lolchalkuritecanon), hence the vague interaction moments they have amongst each other, and picking up blocks aimlessly and dropping them about. Pythos told me she once saw one pick up a flower and deposit it in front of another
When pythos and I were out battling the ender dragon it turned out the dragon was hostile towards the endermen, maybe the ender dragon is the result of a figment of energy that interpreted an actual dragon and follows through with the whole -KILL THEM RAWR- behavior a dragon exhibits
The fact that there are pylons that protect the dragon and such, hm…well maybe, I dunno, a higher form planted those there and kept the dragon around to safeguard the pseudo-sentient humanoid ender.
As for the whole staring thing, I suppose they’re just too private about their business—maybe they don’t want the player (aka subject they’re interpreting) to check out on them. Why? No idea
I don’t even know
LOOK HOW FUCKIN SWEET THEY ARE WOW
Best endermen. And man I love your interpretation. Also I think i was talking about the iron golem with the rose thing???
Also that dragon immediately punting you off the cliff was probably the best thing I’ve ever seen.
I tried joining a multiplayer game in Minecraft and got this message…
Apparently I’ve had this problem before because I saved a screen cap of this message before.
