When A’tuin was a baby- he’s not big enough for a while planet yet, just a forest on his back there.
I love this picture. More than anything in fantasy, I love creatures large enough that they have entire landscapes and ecosystems thriving on them. Living Mountains, Roaming Islands, The Caves Which Are Not Really Caves, etc.
On a more geeky side, Torterra caused me to go from always choosing the fire starter to choosing the grass starter because of the massive tree that grew on it’s back.
