" I am the beast
I am the light
I am the blighted being cursed with sight
I am the god
Who created a world
I am Leviathan the Girl.”
can we shut up about there only being 12 blood colors now?
see, this is funny to me, because Hussie was the one that said there’s only 12
Have you read the comic they literally say they don’t type in their actual blood color
I wouldn’t mind having that particular comic as reference? It’s a big comic and things slip by in reading. I just assumed there could be slight variations in the 12 blood colors, but they were all consider the same shade.
Also Karkat/Kankri/Sufferer don’t really count since they’re all mutants. their blood color isn’t regular, but the lime-bloods who are extinct would count.
"Lady Luck? Terrible in bed. I much prefer Miss Fortune."
Always sleep with a Knight Light. ;3
You are the KNIGHT OF LIGHT.
As a Knight, your main schtick is utilizing your aspect as a weapon, often to protect others on your team. While sometimes this takes form as actual offensive abilities, subtler aspects can cause the Knight to be more of a shield than a sword. All that you really need to know is you will be doing shit to save people to some degree.
Knights of Light are really really fun to play. Light being associated with luck and fortuitous outcomes, your job primarily will be to twist Fate’s arm into giving your team what it wants. Knights of Light are who you call when someone has a 3% chance of insta-killing something but you want a little nudge. Knights of Light are who you call when you decide you don’t like enemies actuallyhitting you, but critical hits on them are pretty good. They’re the assurance that luck is on your side.
Knight Light abilities are a combination of cheating and cheating for everyone. Right out of entry they get the one-time-use ability Lady in the Lake, which leads the Knight to an area usually close by where a carapace of their affiliation will provide them with a (for the time being) incredibly powerful weapon. As for regular abilities, a little ways up the Echeladder they get Rig The Hit Dice, which makes them hit for the max amount of damage through the whole battle. Mid-game they start to come into their own as a protector with abilities like Flash Mob, which summons a horde of consorts to distract an enemy from an ailing teammate, and Strobe Light, which gives all team members a rapid-fire short range teleport ability. In lategame the Knight of Light gets down to business to defeat the Huns with Beginner’s Luck. It takes the lowest leveled party member and immediately shoves them up to the top of their Echeladder. If the entire team is already there, congrats, you have a new God Tier! It can really turn the tide, especially with something like a Page.
'Valuation: Knight Lights are really good team players, if not particularly dazzling. I will never forgive Sburb for not giving them lasers, but I suppose critical hits everywhere make up for it a little.
